Eastern Cape Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs invites unemployed graduates to apply for Internship Programme 2022 / 2023.
This advertisement is issued to all unemployed applicants younger than the age of 35 including persons with disabilities in the EC Province, who are in possession of a 3- year qualification Degree or National Diploma from an accredited Tertiary Institution.
Internship Programme (November 2022 – October 2024)
Applicants who have already participated in any Government Internship Programme will not be considered and if it is found that this was the case after verification, the application will not be considered.
The primary purpose of internship program in government is acquisition of skill, knowledge and experience in order to compete in the open market and Public Service.
Duration: 24 Months
Requirements:
- 3 year Degree/ National Diploma with no work experience.
- Applicants must be less than 35 years of age.
- Candidate must be a resident in the Eastern Cape Province.
- Good communication skills (Verbal and Written).
- Fully completed New Z83 form obtainable from all Government Departments/DPSA website.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) not more than 3 pages

Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit certified copies of qualifications, and other relevant documents to HR on or before the day of the interview: should you be in possession of a foreign qualification; it must be accompanied by an evaluation certificate from the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA) when submitted.

Selected candidates will be subjected to a personnel suitability check (criminal record check, citizenship verification, financial/asset record check, qualification/study verification and previous employment verification). Where applicable, candidates will be subjected to a skills/knowledge test. Successful candidates will be appointed on a probation period of twelve (12) months.
