Honours Bursaries for 2023
An Honours degree (NQF-8) is a degree you do once you have completed your undergraduate degree. Honours programmes are considered a higher level of education as it combines research projects, thesis, and coursework. During this year, students focus primarily on a specific area of interest and upon completion of the programme, move on to a Masters or Doctorate degree.
Some Honours degrees are offered separately from Bachelor degrees. In this instance, the programmes may have different requirements for their entry, however, they both usually do need a high GPA (Grade Point Average) for a student to be considered for admission.
