The Mpumalanga Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs invites qualified candidates to apply for the post of Assistant Director: Security Management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement physical security in line with MPSS, MISS and security legislations throughout the Department.
- Coordinate vetting of all vetting forms all security clearance for COGTA to and from State Security Agency (SSA).
- Conduct investigation on breach of security.
- Manage all control rooms operations to safeguard Departmental assets.
- Supervise the security functions of the security services /service providers.
- Ensure adherence to departmental security policies.
Requirements:
- National Senior Certificate, and a National Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree/ /Advanced National Diploma in Security Management/Policing or equivalent qualification.
- Professional registration with PSIRA Grade A.
- A minimum of 3 years’ working experience in the field of Security.
- Knowledge in security organisation and administration, physical, personnel, information and ICT security.
- Knowledge of investigation processes.
- Knowledge of public service legislation and regulations is essential.
- A valid driver’s license.
