Requirements: Grade 12 • Computer literate • Valid Code B driver’s license • Able to communicate in two of the official languages of the Western Cape • One year experience in a similar position would serve as recommendation.
Duties: Provide administrative functions to supply chain processes • Administer risk and performance management for contracts and services • Communicate with line management, service providers and contractors • Monitor and administer contract provisions and performance within legal requirements • Update and maintain records and registers • Compile compliance reports.

ELECTRICIAN / MILLWRIGHT: HESSEQUA MUNICIPAL AREA
(Ref: T466) T10 – R257 016.00 to R333 612.00 gross salary per year
Requirements: Trade Test Certificate (Electrician / Millwright / Electro Mechanical)• Operating License for Lifting Crane and Aerial Platform (cherry picker) • Code C1 drivers license • Professional Driver’s Permit • Do not have a fear of heights and /or be claustrophobic • Good communication skills • Medium Voltage Operating Certificate and two year’s experience in a similar position, will serve as a recommendation.
Duties: Ensure that subordinates are productive and optimally utilized • Maintain network overhead lines • Install medium voltage switch panels • Test cables and repair defects • Repair low and medium voltage reticulation and electrical systems including pump stations • Load requisitions for acquisitions • Operate cranes and hydraulic cranes • Provide internal training • Implement health and safety measures • Perform administrative functions.

Remuneration: R250.00 per day
Contract: 12 December 2022 to 08 January 2023
Requirements: Grade 9 (Must be able to read and write) • Must be fit and healthy • Able to work in harsh weather conditions • Skipper license (Category R) • Three years’ experience in a similar position, will serve as recommendation.
Duties: Issue warnings • Ensure that boats have permits and licenses • Compile reports • Remove garbage in the river • Keep record of boats on the river • Report any defects • Set up river control signs • Administrative tasks.
*This is a temporary contract and not a permanent appointment.
