JOB DESCRIPTION:
To ensure the highest standards of customer service is delivered and sales turnover targets met through effective people management and enforcement of retail disciplines at store level.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Appropriate customers centric stores staff recruited
- Performance management including meaningful IPA’s, regular one-on-ones and completed performance reviews
- Implementation of a customer service improvement action plan as per the mystery shopper report
- Track Stock availability according to customer needs
- Internal & external customer relationship building
- Translation and communication of business objectives, policies and procedures
- Staff held accountable with recognition, reward, sanction and discipline
- Development of staff through coaching and training sessions
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Understanding of profit and loss (income) statements
- Knowledge of relevant Industrial Relations (IR) Law & initiate enquiries
- Good understanding of the retail environment and brands
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Tertiary Retail Qualification will be to your advantage
- Minimum of 12 – 18 months management experience
- Minimum 5 years’ retail experience
- Complete Matric/Grade 12
